Currently, The Offset Network is focused on Improved Forest Management Offsets (IFM).

Interested in joining the Offset Network?

Both individuals and higher education institutions can join the Offset Network.

• Higher Education Institutions: To be an Active School participating in the Offset Network, your institution should be actively developing a project or have a project developed that is being reviewed by an Offset Network member. Currently, we are recruiting campuses interested in Improved Forest Management (IFM) projects.

• Individuals: Contribute as an Individual Member of the Offset Network by assisting with one or more of the following:

  • Act as a subject-matter expert in the review of Improved Forest Management (IFM) protocols or project design.

  • Complete the validation or verification of an IFM Offset Network project.

  • Contribute to resources or guidance documents for the Offset Network.

Currently, The Offset Network Executive Committee is recruiting experts in the following areas:

• forest inventory and forest offsets
