The Offset Network Executive Committee

The Offset Network Executive Committee is made up of individuals from higher education who are subject matter experts in energy and environmental systems, carbon offsets, campus climate goals, or who have experience implementing offset projects. The committee evaluates submitted Project Plans to ensure projects are eligible for the project pathway selected, and also reviews Verification Reports submitted to The Offset Network. The committee determines the direction for the Offset Network and seeks to improve the peer verification process as a tool to unlock greater impact to address climate change.

The time commitment depends on the number of projects undergoing review, but is estimated to be < 5 hrs/month. We welcome professionals from all industries!

Currently, The Offset Network Executive Committee is recruiting experts in the following areas:

• anaerobic digestion and/or waste stream management

• forestry

• wetland ecosystems
